We started discussing our semester's topic, Ephesians, at Immerse this week. Mike, the campus minister, opened with the first 14 verses. There was a eager buzz about the room, and I could tell the conversation would be lively.
Caleb (above) and Casey (below) decided it was a day to be super heroes.
The international students present gave the whole event a new weight. I counted six: some who have been regulars for several semesters now, some who were new toward the end of last semester, and some who were brand new. It warmed my heart seeing our small Immerse group expand.
There were many new faces, and small groups introduced themselves to one another.
I truly look forward to sharing more about what each Immerse is like and to talking a little about the messages Mike brings.
