Sunday was a big game for football fans in the United States. Two of the best teams of the season battled it out for the ultimate title (and the well-known ring of champions). When there's a big annual football game, the Campus House throws an annual Superb Owl party.
No one arrives dressed as owls, of course, but people come and fill the couches and chairs that are moved in just the right way to see the projector screen. And there is food. Not just a few wings and veggie trays, but there is pizza, buffalo dip, brownies, and sodas galore.
Buffalo dip is a favorite among football parties and look at that football shaped bowl!
American students and international students came to the party! Most people left after Justin Timberlake's performance, but plenty stayed to see a team of the northeastern variety get played by this nation's bird of freedom (Patriots and the Eagles).
A second television sat in the Brook just in case the main room filled up.
