If you've never seen "We're Back!" I recommend it. It's hilarious and a wholesome children's tale about dinosaurs.
Anyway, Campus House is back from a week break! It was really weird not having any weekly events, but it was also helpful to get things done and just relax. I am very glad it's back though. I missed my friends.
Tuesday's lunch was one of my favorites. Colonial Heights Christian Church, from Kingsport, Tennessee, brought salad, lasagna, and the most beautiful desserts. The cookies were perfectly homemade (they weren't perfect and had that homemade look to them) and the rice krispies had a balance of chew and crisp. It was a great meal for the first week back from spring break.
There was regular lasagna and vegetable lasagna to satisfy any student's cravings.
Chocolate cookies and rice krispies made by hand are the best.
The group was smaller than usual, and I think it was because of everyone getting back into the swing of school. By the end of lunch, there were several students that came by. Oh those exams and assignments college students have to get done two days after break!
